Welcome to the University of Notre Dame Office of Campus Ministry Lay Leaders of Prayer. We are indebted to the Military Archdiocese of the United States of America for giving us permission to reprint this material. It is our hope that, by making this website available to commissioned officers of the R.O.T.C. program of the University of Notre Dame as well as Master of Divinity students who have been trained as Lay Leaders, you will find this site an invaluable tool in assisting you to prepare and to celebrate well the Rite of Sunday Celebrations in the Absence of a Priest. You are to be commended for your desire to share your faith with others, and to help them to come “to know, love, and serve God” (Blessed Basil Moreau, C.S.C., Founder of the Congregation of Holy Cross).
