WTWW Service Project

-

Location: Duncan Student Center (View on map )

The Walk the Walk Week Service Project calls on the entire campus community to live out Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of creating the Beloved Community by donating our time and resources to address the immediate needs of homeless and housing-insecure individuals in the greater South Bend area. This initiative is co-sponsored by Notre Dame Student Government and Campus Ministry in partnership with the Office of the President.

You can help in two ways:

  1. Donate toiletries, food, and other essential items (listed below) by dropping off items in dropoff locations around campus
  2. Volunteer with us on Saturday, January 21, starting at 10:00 a.m. in Duncan Student Center, to sort and package donations for local organizations. Food and t-shirts will be provided to volunteers while supplies last. Join us any time from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Sign up to Volunteer!

All students living on campus will participate in collaboration with their dorm.

Instructions for dorm donation goals have been e-mailed to dorm leaders by the Student Government Diversity and Inclusion Director, Eliza Smith. Click here to review dorm donation assignments and instructions. Students living off campus can drop off their donations at any of the locations listed below. Questions about the donation process? E-mail Eliza Smith and Carlondrea Petty.

Starting January 15, faculty, staff, and students living off campus, can drop off donations in the boxes provided at the following campus locations. Donations will be accepted at these locations through the end of the day on Thursday, January 19:
