Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage
Campus Ministry is hosting a walking pilgrimage along a segment of El Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain, culminating at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
We will explore the ancient tradition of the Way of St. James, focusing on the journey of faith, personal reflection, and the rich history of the Apostle St. James the Greater and the Medieval pilgrims. We will walk the required distance—the final 100+ km of the most popular route—to earn the coveted Compostela (pilgrim certificate).
As we travel through the Galician countryside, we will experience the simple rhythm of a pilgrim's life, engage with the local culture and cuisine, and connect with fellow peregrinos from around the world in shared prayer and community. This pilgrimage offers a profound opportunity to strip away the distractions of daily life, deepen your spiritual journey, and experience the transformative power of the Way.
When is the pilgrimage?
The pilgrimage will take place May 18 - 27, 2026.
Pilgrimage Costs:
The cost per student is $200 (includes airfair and accomodations). Financial assistance may be made for your particular situation and other campus resources are available, so please do not allow financial concerns to prevent your application. We are happy to work with any students interested in attending this pilgrimage.
