Christ for the Curious

Each semester Campus Ministry offers a casual 3 to 5 week series where we discuss the life of Jesus and its relevance to our lives today. Perfect for those new to Christianity or looking for a refresher, each week we look at a key event in the life of Jesus Christ. A visiting campus speaker will tell the story of Jesus and then unpack that event’s significance, both for Christians generally and in their life in particular. Participants are then invited to share their thoughts regarding what they’ve heard, its significance in their lives or to bring up any questions the story raises.

Each week’s session will include coffee, hot chocolate and cookies, and will run on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. in the St. Andre Room on the first floor of the Coleman-Morse Center. Come for one session or come for all.

The spring 2017 series schedule is as follows:

Feb 2 - The Birth of Jesus - Sr. Susan Sisko, OSBM (Rector, Badin Hall)

Feb 9 - The Baptism of Jesus - Zack Imfeld (Rector, Morrissey Manor)

Feb 16 - The Transfiguration of Jesus - Veronicca Solis (M.Div. '18)

Feb 23 - The Last Supper - Mamie Smith (Rector, Pasquerilla East Hall)
