Asian/Asian American Mid-Winter Retreat
This retreat occurs every January and is completely run by student leaders. Each year, the Winter Retreat focuses on an aspect of cultural identity, heritage, or experience. The Retreat is an empowering moment to come together with friends to articulate one’s cultural identity and heritage, especially within the context of the Notre Dame experience. Through a combination of witness talks, small group discussions, and a variety of fun, interactive activities, the Retreat is a wonderful place to meet new friends, discuss personal experience, and have a great time. The Winter Retreat is open to all undergraduate students, but is especially geared towards Asian and Asian American students.
The next winter retreat will be held on January 27-28, 2012. (Register Online) Since we have limited spots (40), students can sign up on line during the Christmas holidays and be sure to bring the money to 114 Coleman-Morse by Wednesday, January 18 to confirm their sign-up. After that date they can bring their form and money to Coleman-Morse 114 on first-come-first-served basis.
