Sacred Heart: His Reign Has No End, often recognized by its title Sacré Coeur in the original French, is a new docudrama that presents the heart of Jesus as revealed to Saint Margaret Mary 350 years ago in France. Today, the mystery of the Sacred Heart continues to draw men and women from around the world to its love, grace, and transforming power for all humanity. In this year of America’s 250th anniversary, the film is even more timely as the US Catholic bishops are set to consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Characterized as a blockbuster and lightning rod overseas, nearly a million people have seen the film in Europe to date. An introduction will be given by Rev. Gregory Haake, C.S.C., vice president of the Office of Mission Engagement and Church Affairs.
On Friday, October 2, 2026, the Browning Cinema in the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center will host a film screening of Sacré Cœur (Sacred Heart: His Reign Has No End) at 6:30 p.m. The film offers a reflection on devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and its enduring significance in the life of the Church.
