In light of the violence, injustice, and social unrest that has created a climate of fear and polarization in our nation in recent weeks, the Bishops of the United States have called for all people to pray for renewal of our hearts and our nation. In response, Campus Ministry invites everyone to gather for Holy Hour for Peace on Friday, February 6, immediately following the 11:30 a.m. Mass, at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. The Church has asked that this be a time to "pray for reconciliation where there is division, for justice where there are violations of fundamental rights, and for consolation for all who feel overwhelmed by fear or loss."
