Grief Ministry

The death of a family member or friend is a life altering event that each person responds to in his or her own way. Many have found healing and understanding through discussing their journey with others.

Campus Ministry provides resources for undergraduate and graduate students who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or significant other and are now ready to enter into the grieving process. All grief support is confidential.

If you are looking for someone to talk to about the loss of a loved one, are interested in joining a group of peers for support and sharing about your loss, or you have any questions, please feel free to contact Fr. Frank Murphy, C.S.C., at fmurphy4@nd.edu or 574-631-5242.

Reflections for Grief and Loss

The following document was written to help members of the Notre Dame community gather in groups to talk, think and pray about loss in a time of tragedy. Please feel free to use only the parts that are helpful to you.
