Other Retreats

Are you looking for a different kind of retreat? An opportunity to expand your faith through service? These retreats may be for you!
Contemplation in Action
The retreat will provide a space for students to reflect on the connection between their own spiritual lives and social justice work and to root the work that we do in prayer. We will focus on modern-day examples such as Dorothy Day, Mother Teresa, and Thomas Merton and look to the scriptural roots of our call to Christian service.
Silent Retreat
This retreat is a silent directed retreat based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola and allows for personal prayer, reflection, discernment, and spiritual growth.
Leadership in Ministry Retreat
In August, Campus Ministry and the Center for Social Concerns team up to host a retreat for all liturgical, music, social concerns and CM commissioners across campus. The retreat offers the amazing opportunity to join with the other commissioners in your hall and to network with those across campus.
Vocation Retreat
This weekend away from campus is intended to provide some quiet time away from campus to pray about how God may be calling you, to spend some time with that voice in the back of your head, to learn about the Congregation of Holy Cross, and to ask God to show you the way.
GLBTQ
This 24-hour retreat is for students who deal with same-sex attraction (typically classified as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or questioning) and their friends. For nearly 10 years, this retreat has given students the opportunity to reflect on Church teaching and share their life stories within the context of a supportive, faith-filled community.
