Fr. Joe Corpora, C.S.C.
Coordinator of "Need to Talk?", Chaplain to Latino Student Ministry
Rev. Joseph Corpora, C.S.C. serves as Coordinator of Campus Ministry's "Need to Talk?" program and is the Chaplin to Latino Student Ministry within the Office of Campus Ministry. After graduating from Notre Dame in 1976, Fr. Joe entered Moreau Seminary and was ordained a Holy Cross priest in 1984. He served six years at the University of Portland in Portland, Ore. before he was transferred to St. John Vianney Parish in Goodyear, Az., where he was Pastor from 1990-2002. In 2002, he was transferred to Holy Redeemer Parish in Portland where he served as Pastor from 2002-2009. In August of 2009, he came back to work at the University of Notre Dame. In addition to his work in Campus Ministry, Fr. Joe also serves as the Director of University-School Partnerships in the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE). He also works with first generation students at Notre Dame. Fr. Joe is a sinner whose sins are forgiven. He loves anything made with tomato sauce!
