Looking for a way to enter more fully into Lent and Easter this Semester?
Spring ‘08 Bible Study
The Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ: A Journey through Lent and Easter
Wednesday nights, 7:00-8:15 pm in the Welsh Family Hall 24-Hour Lounge.
This semester, we will study the Passion Narratives of the 4 Gospels through the Lenten season. Then study the Resurrection accounts as we celebrate Easter. Newcomers always welcome! We share a meal together as we discuss.
Notre Dame Bible Study offers an opportunity to explore the central books of the Bible in an informal setting. As a group seeking a fuller understanding of the central stories of our faith, we will choose one of the books of the Bible (for example, one of the Gospels) and over several weeks, read it together, along with some short commentaries on the passages. Guided by Fr. Lou DelFra, CSC, the group will unpack the Gospel passages, ask questions, and search for deeper insight into how the message of Christ speaks to us in our lives today.
