Resources on the Catholic Faith

The Roman Catholic faith is indeed pervasive on the campus of the University of Notre Dame, with the beautiful Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, over 40 active chapels (most notably in every residence hall), and over 100 Catholic Masses celebrated each week on our campus. Regardless of your faith background, you will likely have a number of questions regarding the Catholic faith that is lived and practiced by so many students, faculty, and staff here at Notre Dame.
Here are a few suggestions:
- First, please know that you are always welcome to worship at any of the Catholic Masses on campus at Notre Dame, in either the Basilica of the Sacred Heart or any of the residence hall chapels.
- Secondly, if you have questions about the Catholic Church, please don’t hesitate to seek out those individuals who can help you find answers to your questions: your rector and hall staff members, your knowledgeable Catholic peers here at Notre Dame, and indeed all of us here in Campus Ministry. We’d love to be of assistance!
